Support the Business Development Manager to grow our construction side of the business and our engagement with both new and existing customers as well as responsibility for our marketing.

Duties
  • Responsible for the distribution network and provide the day to day support needed to ensure all distribution channels (both TTL and Topcon) are performing for Topcon
  • Support the Business Development Manager with customer relationships, including attending client meetings to understand client needs and provide effective support through the business development process.
  • Respond to customer queries and enquires, escalating and working with the Business Development Manager on complex issues.
  • Support the Business Development Manager with developing customer proposals and service agreements, providing background research and information.
  • Provide marketing support for TTL, enhancing the company's exposure through appropriate marketing channels and work closely with the European marketing team on collaborative projects.
  • Support UK and European shows, including show stand set up and promotion of shows, and working with Topcon marketing ensuring brand guidelines are met for show stands.
  • Provide market research for market and competitive analysis.
  • Support the development of training, documentation and promotional material.


Skills and experience
  • Previous experience of working within a business development support role is essential and from within a similar electro-mechanical manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
  • Previous experience or exposure to exhibition setup would be an advantage.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a good understanding of customer service principles.
  • Ability to develop an understanding of Topcon products and markets.
  • A methodical and logical approach to work with the ability to prioritise and work on own initiative.
  • Strong problem-solving and analysis skills.
