Ausley Associates is pleased to recruit for the newest member of our premier team; Contract Administrator. This position supports our Corporate Operations team in Lexington Park, MD and will be key in the day to day functioning and support of the Contracts Department.
Essential Job Functions of this Position:
The Contract Administrator is responsible for all aspects of contract administration from RFP review to proposal submission, ongoing administration, CDRL/Financial preparation, closeout, and agreement negotiation. He/She will monitor contract requirements to ensure sound business practices, provide risk mitigation, and provide more accurate interpretation of Government contracting practices to include FAR and DFAR. The Contract Administrator will be responsible for all contract audit compliance for internal processes, ISO compliance, DCAA and DCMA requirements. Will also engage with program managers/new business pursuit teams to provide guidance and support as contract requirements dictate or as requested.
Qualifications - Education and Relevant Years of Experience
Bachelor's degree in a Business-related field and four (4) years of experience with Government contracts is required. High school diploma or GED and nine (9) years of experience may substitute in lieu of the degree requirement. Must have experience with FAR and DFAR requirements. Experience in contracts from pre-RFP to closeout, including CDRL/financial preparation, contract modifications and financial analysis is required. DoD Contracts experience is desired. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint are required. Must have the ability to work independently with limited guidance. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
