Ausley Associates is pleased to recruit for the newest member of our premier team; Desktop Support Technician. This position supports our Corporate Operations Team in Lexington Park, MD.
Essential Job Functions of this Position:
The successful candidate will be responsible for technical support of computers, various applications, mobile devices, and related technology for the Ausley Information Technology (IT) Department. Support includes specification, installation, and testing of computer systems. The candidate must also receive, prioritize, document, and actively resolve end user Support Requests (SRs).

Essential Job Functions of this Position:

Job Functions:
- Provide day-to-day computer hardware/software support, including preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
- Set up and troubleshoot domains, user accounts and software accounts.
- Schedule and install new hardware and software applications.
- Inventory and maintain IT equipment (computers, printers, scanners, and mobile devices).
- Perform special projects as assigned by the IT Manager.
- Stay current with infrastructure information, changes and updates.
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.
- Research questions using available information resources.
- Configure, test, and troubleshoot network connectivity and wireless access for local and remote computers or devices.
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve problems.
- Assist in the maintenance and testing of network servers and associated equipment.
Qualifications - Education and Relevant Years of Experience
- Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 1-2 years applicable experience with the operation and troubleshooting of desktop systems and software.
- Security + certification preferred.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs.
- Experience with VoIP technology, phones, and equipment, preferred.
- An active Secret security clearance is desired.
