Program Analyst - Scheduler

Ausley Associates is pleased to recruit for the newest member of our premier team; Program Analyst - Scheduler. This position provides program analysis expertise for an ACAT 1 NAVAIR program that is driving requirements definition, resource allocation, acquisition and logistics support for TACAIR and/or UAV platform. The right team member will become part of a long standing, well respected and growing team with a history of leveraging experience and developing newcomers to defense acquisition at Patuxent River NAS.
Essential Job Functions of this Position:
Qualifications - Education and Relevant Years of Experience
Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline and two (2) years of demonstrated experience supporting major weapon system development/acquisition is required. High school diploma or GED and six (6) years of related experience may substitute in lieu of the degree requirement. Should have experience developing, maintaining and analyzing project schedules. He/She should also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills commensurate with a technical and facilitator role as well as proficiency with MS Office.
An active Top-Secret security clearance is desired. An active Secret clearance with Top-Secret eligibility may be considered for otherwise well qualified candidates.

Essential Job Functions of this Position:
- Provide acquisition and program management expertise for ACAT 1 DoD Weapon System
- Assist in developing and maintaining an Integrated Government Schedule (IGS) and associated schedule metrics to include, but not limited to, critical path, driving path, and schedule risk assessment
- Review and conduct analysis of statements of work, basis of estimates, and CDRLs with regard to schedule execution
- Support development, management, and execution of contracts
- Plan, coordinate, and manage development and procurement acquisition milestones
- Provide expert contracting support to include development of Procurement Initiation Documents, Statements of Work (SOW) and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs)
- Support NAVAIR IPTs with analysis of product requirements, cost, and schedule requirements.
- Travel as required to support customer requirements
