Commercial sUAS Pilot (Independent Contractor)

Ausley Associates is pleased to recruit for the newest member of our premier team; Commercial sUAS Pilot (Independent Contractor). This position supports our Commercial UAS division in Dripping Springs, Texas.
Essential Job Functions of this Position:
The primary tasks of the Commercial sUAS Pilot include serving as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) of small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) for inspection of various structures. Typical aircraft include DJI Phantom 4's, Inspire 2's, M600's, and M-210's but PIC may periodically be asked to fly similar types. As PIC, the Independent Contractor is responsible for executing the daily tasking designated by the Project Manager and uploading data packages by the end of the same day. Independent Contractors are responsible for following and enforcing company flight operation policies and procedures, coordinating with other sUAS pilots, and supporting sUAS flight operations as scheduled.
Travel will be required primarily within the continental US but may include periodic international trips.

Qualifications - Education and Relevant Years of Experience
- Candidates must hold a Part 107 certificate and minimum 50 hours (25 hours if flying aircraft without GPS capability) of sUAS flight experience prior to applying for a position.
- Preferred candidates hold a pilot certificate issued under 14 CFR part 61 and have completed a flight review within the previous 24 months.
- Candidates must be willing to travel.
