Ausley Associates is pleased to recruit for the newest member of our Dayton, Ohio team: Systems Safety/Airworthiness Engineer. This positions provides systems technical expertise to perform the systems engineering duties to assist with planning, participation, and recording of system safety actions affecting the international Global Hawk weapon system, at Wright Patterson AFB.
Essential Job Functions of this Position:
Qualifications - Education and Relevant Years of Experience
A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline and at least three (3) years' general experience in systems engineering is required. Previous DoD anti-tamper experience is highly desirable.
The right candidate must also possess a current DoD and NATO SECRET clearance.

Essential Job Functions of this Position:
- Assists with monitoring the coordination, planning, and boarding of systems safety actions for applicability to the international Global Hawk weapon system final acceptance processes including safety and airworthiness concerns
- Assists in resolution of technical and process issues related to international Global Hawk weapon system safety
- Supports safety compliance efforts for the Global Hawk FMS weapon system and related sub-systems
- Identifies, tracks, and documents each Global Hawk country-/system-peculiar baseline and any systems changes
- Accomplishes Advance Change/Study Notices (ACSN) and ECP/CCP
- Conducts configuration status accounting
- Tracks time compliance technical orders (TCTO)
- Reviews and approves of all country-peculiar Global Hawk specifications; and, review of country-related system safety reports
