Ausley Associates is pleased to recruit for the newest member of our premier team; Program Analyst. This position supports an ACAT I NAVAIR program that is driving requirements definition, systems engineering, acquisition (procurement) and logistics support for TACAIR and/or UAV platform(s).

Essential Job Functions of this Position:

The Program Analyst will provide analysis support for an ACAT I NAVAIR program through the participation as a member of and/or support of specified Program Integration Product Teams (IPTs) and IPT directed technical and business meetings. Responsibilities will include:
  • Provide direct support in the development, testing and fielding of NAVAIR ACAT ID aircraft Operational Flight Program (OFP).
  • Support software requirements development, management of software development contract efforts including cost/schedule; provide analysis of SW project execution and SW performance metrics.
  • Participate in NAVAIR SETR process including review of engineering documentation such as performance specifications, Statements of Requirement (SOR), and various compliance matrices.
  • Coordinate and manage SW project contracts through initiation to Fleet release. This includes support of requirements definition, budget/cost estimates, SW development, test coordination, and Fleet release.
  • Support SW development contract efforts including SOW, CDRL and PID development; support analyst of SW test progress; coordinate technical and programmatic priorities.
  • Collect, complete, organize and interpret financial and technical data and information relating to aircraft and/or weapon product acquisition programs.

Travel as required to support customer requirements.

Qualifications - Education and Relevant Years of Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and three (3) years of experience supporting Navy/Air Force weapon systems development and acquisition. Program Management or Systems Engineering experience is desired. Defense Acquisition University LVL II or higher in Systems Engineering or Program Management is also desired. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills commensurate with technical and facilitator roles. Must have strong knowledge with MS Office Suite. Four years of experience with Navy acquisition programs may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Should have an active Top-Secret security clearance. An active Secret clearance with Top-Secret eligibility may be considered for otherwise well qualified candidates.
